Italy India Innovation Day 2022 is a call for start-ups, scale-ups and SMEs based in India that are looking for international opportunities.

The initiative is promoted by AIICP the India-Italy Association for Cooperation and Partnership established in Milan in 2019 by a prominent group of business leaders, associations and representatives from the media, society and culture. This year initiative follows the success of the 2021 edition.

Members of the AIICP include Italian companies such as Bonfiglioli Riduttori (industrial automation), Danieli (metal industry), Dell’Orto (mechanics/automotive), Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane (transport/railway), Fincantieri (shipyards), Generali Group (finance/insurance) , Marcegaglia (Steel Processing), Maire Tecnimont (chemical/oil & gas) Noonic (digital industry), Piaggio&C. (vehicles), Pininfarina (design/automotive), Sace (finance/insurance), Snam (energy), Intesa San Paolo (banking), as well as Indian corporations such as JSW Group (Steel, Energy, Cement and Infrastructure) (vehicles/automotive), and institutions such as Confindustria (Italian industry association), Italian Embassy to India, Indian Embassy to Italy.

Italy India Innovation Day 2022 looks for Indian start-ups, scale-ups and SMEs with innovative technologies, products and services mainly, but not only, in the mobility, energy, digital, deep-tech, fintech, and green chemistry fields.

Indian start-ups, scale-ups and SMEs interested to be part of the event could apply on this website using the specific form within the extended deadline of November 1, 2022. All applications will be evaluated, and the selected companies will be invited to an online event on November 23, 2022 to present their products, technologies and services to the Italian companies participating that included the AIICP members plus other invited corporations.

The purpose of the call is to create potential matching between Indian based start-ups, scale-ups and SMEs, with the Italian companies and corporations in order to develop potential business agreements in case of mutual interest.

The November 23, 2022 event is a pitching session, that will be conducted in English and held live in the morning hours for Italy / afternoon hours for India via an online platform.

Participation in the Italy India Innovation Day 2022 for Indian start-ups, scale-ups and SMEs is entirely free.
